Performer Bio
Bob Alper has built an extraordinary career combining spirituality and humor with witty, sophisticated, and clean material. His 38 years in stand-up comedy are complemented by his background as an ordained rabbi and his Doctor of Ministry degree from Princeton Theological Seminary.
Bob has performed alongside Lewis Black, Susie Essman, Mo Amer, and Freddie Roman, and at venues ranging from the Montreal Comedy Festival and New York's Chautauqua Institution to The World Bank, Hollywood's IMPROV, and The Comedy Store. His international appearances include England, Israel, the Caribbean, and Tasmania, along with more than 100 college performances.
In a comedy world often driven by edgy or divisive material, Bob remains committed to thoughtful, gentle, and genuinely funny comedy with impeccable timing.
