01SCROOGÉ: A NEW CHRISTMAS CAROL

Cast of 8
Music by Jeff Thomson • Book & Lyrics by Jeremy Desmon
Rehearsals begin: November 9, 2026
Performances: December 4, 5, 11 & 12, 2026

Dickens meets pop stardom in this musical remix: Carol Scrooge, a spoiled rich girl and wannabe pop star who answers only to “Scroogé,” thinks Christmas is just another photo op—until the ghost of her great-great-great-great-great grandfather Ebenezer shows up with three spirits and an intervention for the ages.

CAROL “SCROOGÉ” SCROOGE — Female-presenting. Lead. A wealthy, image-conscious aspiring pop star with plenty of attitude and charisma. Confident, funny, stylish, and larger than life, with an emotional journey underneath it all. Exceptional contemporary/pop vocalist. Strong mover.

EBENEZER SCROOGE — Male-presenting. Carol’s great-great-great-great-great grandfather. A familiar Dickensian figure dropped into a very modern world. Strong character actor with excellent comic timing and warmth.

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT #1 — Featured role. Bold, distinctive personality. Strong singer/actor with comedic instincts and movement ability.

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT #2 — Featured role. Energetic and theatrical with strong comic timing. Strong singer/mover.

CHRISTMAS SPIRIT #3 — Featured role. Charismatic storyteller with strong vocals, presence, and movement ability.

FEATURED ENSEMBLE / MULTIPLE ROLES (3) — Highly versatile singer/actors who create the world of the musical and play multiple characters throughout the story. Strong harmonies, character work, comedy, and movement required.

All eight performers should be comfortable functioning as a true ensemble, with doubling and additional character assignments possible as the show develops.

02THE MOSTLY TRUE STORY OF LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD

Cast of 6
Music by Jeff Thomson • Book & Lyrics by Jeremy Desmon
Rehearsals begin: Second week of February 2027
Performances: February 26 & 27 and March 5 & 6, 2027

Everyone knows the story—or do they? This fresh, funny musical retelling takes audiences off the familiar path to discover there’s a lot more to Red, Granny, and the Wolf than the storybooks let on.

LITTLE RED — Female-presenting. Lead. Smart, contemporary, independent, funny, and not necessarily the girl audiences think they know from the storybook. Strong pop vocalist with excellent comedic and storytelling instincts.

THE WOLF — Any gender. Charismatic, clever, theatrical, and perhaps not quite the villain we’ve been led to believe. Excellent comic actor and strong contemporary singer.

GRANNY — Female-presenting. Big personality, sharp sense of humor, and plenty of surprises. Strong character actor/singer with excellent comedic timing.

FEATURED ENSEMBLE / MULTIPLE ROLES (3) — Versatile singer/actors who transform into the characters inhabiting Red’s world and help tell—and perhaps question—the familiar story. Strong vocals, harmonies, comedy, character work, and movement.

Cast members may play multiple roles as the story unfolds.

03PINOCCHIO: A REAL BOY BAND

Cast of 6
Music by Jeff Thomson • Book & Lyrics by Jeremy Desmon
Rehearsals begin: First week of May 2027
Performances: May 21, 22, 28 & 29, 2027

A wooden boy with big dreams stumbles into the irresistible pull of pop stardom in this high-energy new musical about ambition, friendship, and what it really means to be “real.”

PINOCCHIO — Male-presenting. Lead. An enthusiastic wooden boy with huge dreams who suddenly finds himself swept into the world of pop stardom. Charming, funny, earnest, and energetic. Exceptional contemporary/pop vocalist and strong mover.

GEPPETTO — Male-presenting. Warm, eccentric, and deeply invested in Pinocchio’s journey. Strong actor/singer with both comedic and heartfelt instincts.

FEATURED BOY BAND / ENSEMBLE (4) — Charismatic singer/actors who help create Pinocchio’s high-energy pop world while playing multiple featured characters throughout the story. Strong pop vocals and harmonies required. Dance/movement ability strongly preferred.

Each ensemble performer should bring a distinctive personality and stage presence, allowing the “boy band” itself to become part of the comedy and theatricality of the show.

New works in development: character descriptions, vocal requirements, doubling and track assignments may evolve. Casting will prioritize versatile performers excited to collaborate.
